Dr. Anita Girdhar is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Environmental Science, J.C. Bose University of Science & Technology, YMCA, Faridabad. She did her Ph.D. from Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research & Studies, Faridabad, through which she contributed to significant research findings in utilization of Azolla microphylla biomass for removal of Lead and Cadmium from wastewater. Her research areas of interest are phytoremediation, wastewater treatment, biocontaminant remediation and advanced oxidation processes. She has presented several papers at national and international conferences and has published journal papers and book chapters. She has received accolades for her work including best paper and presenter awards.
