The Faculty of Sciences hosts the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences, focusing on quality education across scientific disciplines and promoting innovative research in allied fields. The Faculty bridges pure science with applied sciences, addressing environmental challenges and encouraging interdisciplinary research in areas such as energy, biofuels, green chemistry, process recycling, waste management, air-water pollution, nanotechnology, material sciences, and structural biology.

The Faculty offers fundamental and advanced courses through B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc., and Ph.D. programs, designed to enhance employability and entrepreneurship opportunities in academia and industry. Committed to fostering interdisciplinary growth, the Faculty continues to innovate and integrate for a “Self-Reliant India”.

Since August 2021, all science departments have been relocated to the newly constructed “C. V. Raman Block”, which houses state-of-the-art lecture halls and advanced research laboratories. The Central Instrumentation Laboratory (CIL) is fully functional with modern equipment such as AFM, X-Ray Diffractometer, and UV-Visible spectrometer. With a team of young, dynamic faculty members, the Faculty provides a vibrant environment that nurtures scientific inquiry and academic excellence.

The Faculty of Sciences consists of the following departments:
