To promote and accelerate the quality
research work. To foster an environment for socially relevant research. To
cater specific needs of Industry for Product/Process development with prospective
commercial aspect. To motivate the faculty to apply for research projects
thereby enhancing the research funding from Govt. agencies and industries. To
provide linkages with different sponsoring agencies for the development of
R&D programmes in the emerging areas of Science, Engineering and
Technology. To create awareness on evolving technologies and industrial
standards for products. To encourage and facilitate the publication of the
research work/projects in reputed academic journals and reputed conferences. To
prepare and implement a research quality assurance mechanism that ensures
standard quality measures.

cultural and societal issues. To collaborate with other academic and research
